• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry is essential

We’re recruiting on behalf of established, highly regarded construction companies operating in the Wanaka and Central Otago region, with opportunities available for experienced Site Managers who are ready to take ownership of quality construction projects.

These are not junior site-supervision roles. We’re looking for experienced Site Managers who are confident running a site, coordinating trades and subcontractors, managing programmes and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

• Take full day-to-day responsibility for construction sites and project delivery

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and suppliers

• Plan and manage site programmes, sequencing and daily activities

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and construction documentation

• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and health and safety

• Coordinate inspections, materials, deliveries and site logistics

• Identify and resolve issues before they impact programme or quality

• Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, consultants and subcontractors

• Keep accurate site records and project documentation

• Lead by example and create a professional, productive site environment
